Our expert team has prepared  six case stories about the substitution of such hazardous substances as Bisphenol A, Formaldehyde, Trichlorethylene, Chromium III, Zinc cyanide, and decaBDE. All of them are acutely or chronically toxic and also hazardous to the environment.

The case stories describe the substitution of the hazardous substances in the particular industry branches: Bisphenol A in food industry, Formaldehyde in wood processing industry, Trichlorethylene and Zinc cyanide in metal processing industry, Chromium III in leather processing industry, and decaBDE in textile industry.

The case stories give a short overview of  hazards of the substances and their regulatory status. The stories also include description of the substitution process, including the information on identification of alternatives, selected alternative and justification, implementation plan, costs and savings, and evaluation.
