LIFE Fit for REACH - 2 project offers companies from Baltic States and Poland support to improve the management of chemicals.
Companies will have opportunity to:
- receive advice, assess and improve their chemical management system;
- have a better overview of hazardous chemicals used in the company (compile comprehensive inventory);
- improve their occupational safety;
- obtain financial support for improving the management of chemicals by reducing the use or substituting harmful chemical substances.
Why is substitution important to a company?
- compliance with the requirements of regulatory acts, which will enter into force soon,
- less hazardous waste management costs,
- simpler inventory of chemical substances,
- simplified compliance to work with safety requirements,
- the product can be positioned in the market as more environmentally friendly for consumers' health/ more harmless,
