The LIFE AskREACH project has developed a European wide database for article suppliers to submit information on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in their articles. The database is now open for suppliers to submit their data via the supplier front end.
One of the leading producers of cleaning detergents in Lithuania – "Naujoji Ringuva" - participates in the project “LIFE Fit for REACH”.
The study, commissioned by EU-OSHA and carried out by the Institute of Occupational Medicine, identified the dangerous substances and sectors that pose the greatest risk to workers in the EU.

On 23rd and 24th October, 2018, in Riga, representatives from 17 European states will debate on which mechanisms would most effectively help businesses to reduce the use of harmful chemicals in their daily activities.
Since the installation of the high pressure and ultrasound equipment, the metalworking company Proring no longer uses as much hazardous substances as previously and because of this has also increased work efficiency.
With the support of the Life Fit for REACH project the metal processing company Knk Mefab will no longer need to use hazardous substances in the grinding process.
